Constant learning

As educators we are required to continue our education as part of our certification on contractual obligations. I support the idea of it, as we should stay on top of research, theories, new developments and the like. I just wish there was more financial support to do so.

This video is my plan for taking what I have learned and applying it in my lesson planning for the upcoming year. The information is from a chapter out of the Universal Design for Learning textbook as part of grad course, EDT 517.

One thing I forgot to mention in my video is that I'm excited to include more reading of picture books to explore reading comprehension strategies than the middle school level novels I used this past year. I'm excited about this because I LOVE a good picture book. My all time favorite you ask? Peter Jeffers, Curious Garden.
