As a cyber teacher with Agora Cyber Charter School, learning about the varied applications and technology available will help me maximize my interactions with my students. This knowledge will also allow me to better assist my children who are both beginning a cyber education with PALCS in the fall.

I love finding games to bring enjoyment to lessons. Resources that my students can use, that makes learning real and relevant is impactful. This generation typically knows about new technology before me so I've had to step up my game to bring resources and activities that engage my students while being both rigorous and mindful to a growth mindset.

EDT 500 introduced me to the world of technology using an iPad and Apple based applications. While these are not immediately compatible in my teaching world, many of my students still have Apple products and perhaps my children will utilize them. I also researched Microsoft alternatives to the apps I found most intriguing.

Making movies is another fun lesson alternative and iMovie for iOS makes it simple. Just remember to shoot in landscape mode! Here is the feature film Super Girly! Check out a blog on best free editing software from Techradar.
